Why Did Michael Jordan Fail as a Baseball Player?

By Rich Bond

Michael Jordan, who many say is the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) basketball player, was not able to transfer his success to baseball.

You may ask – why should I care?

If you’re a business owner, you may be in a similar situation to Michael Jordan – especially if your business is not growing as fast or as profitably as you would have expected.

Michael Jordan is an incredible athlete, but he didn’t have the ability to transfer his basketball skills to baseball. The games are too different. The White Sox brought in tutors. Michael wanted to learn. But, you know the rest.

To win, a baseball team can and must hire players with the right abilities for each position.

You may be a great innovator, marketer, and/or salesperson, which has helped you grow your business. But you may not have the financial skills needed to maximize profits.

The good news is that like a baseball team, you can hire someone who has the chops to provide you with the financial insights that can make your profits soar.
