What Would Einstein Say about Your Company’s Profit Expectations for 2022?

By Rich Bond

Einstein would say, “It is unlikely those expectations will be achieved, if you plan to keep doing essentially the same things you did in the past.”

His definition of insanity was “continuing to do the same things over and over, while expecting a different result.”

Your company can begin the process of supercharging your results in 2022, if you make your finance department function as a “strategic partner” to management.

A strong finance function will allow your management team to more efficiently allocate resources and capitalize on the most profitable opportunities.  Below are two examples of how proactive people we placed added value:

  • A pricing professional helped a packaging company increase prices by over one percent a year, resulting in more than a 300% increase in their stock price over four years.
  • A supply chain finance professional recommended a new plant location methodology, which resulted in sales of their “value brand” to double in less than five years.

At my firm, Bond and Company, we have a proprietary process we call “Results-based Recruiting,” which helps our clients hire and retain financial and pricing professionals who drive positive change.

If you would like to talk about how hiring the right financial and pricing professionals can supercharge your company’s results in 2022 and beyond, we should talk.

The choice is yours: Do more of the same, or try something completely different?  What do you have to lose?
