Treasury Today Group recently posted an article posing this question. (https://treasurytoday.com/insight-and-analysis/short-reads/is-your-job-safe-from-chatgpt).
Unless you’re not reading or watching any news, you’ve no doubt heard about ChatGPT – the new A.I. function from OpenAI that can answer questions instantly (sometimes incorrectly), mimic human writing, and supposedly enhance the ability to do our jobs.
Many people are afraid A.I. will actually take over our jobs.
For someone who just does what is required, any new tool that comes along could potentially imperil their job. But if you can harness the tool and use it to enhance your work, you really should have no worries, especially if you’re capable of, and willing to do, more than your job description requires.
If you have Quantifiable Accomplishments such as “I saved $100,000 in bank fees while improving the service levels,” your job should not only be safe, but there should be promotional prospects in your future.
