My wife, Lyn, and I met two of our sons and their families for a vacation in Colorado. After three days in Boulder, we moved to Winter Park to really see the Rockies – 9,000+ feet.
Along the way, we stopped in Mount Evans to fish – one of my favorite vacation pastimes.
Shortly after we arrived, our nine-year-old grandson Harry caught a 15” rainbow trout. He was beyond thrilled!
His parents caught up to us just in time to video the event.
As I get older, I realize how important family time is. Lyn and I had great times with our children, but our times with our grandchildren seem even more special.
