I Just finished 28 Radiation Treatments for Prostate Cancer.

By Rich Bond

There is a saying: whatever doesn’t kill us, makes us a better person.

I don’t necessarily think I am a better person for the experience. But it still made me think about life.

I was incredibly lucky.  Prostate cancer is rarely fatal if caught early, which mine was. And my treatment was essentially without side effects.

I actually slept through the night.  But another patient on the same cycle was waking up 15 times a night.  Ugh!

Have you had a health issue that changed your perspective? I’d love to hear your stories.

If you’re delaying anything (medical tests, business or personal decisions), my message to you is to stop delaying. We’re all mortal.
