When Rich Bond set up Bond & Company in 1986, he saw a need for a service which combined best aspects of contingent recruiting and retained search. Over the years Bond & Company has developed a methodology to deliver this service, while incorporating the most positive aspects of both operating philosophies.

We often operate with many clients strictly as a contingent recruiter where a client only pays for performance. With larger companies with ongoing hiring needs, we are interested in potentially working toward some sort of a modified retainer arrangement. There are occasions where a recruitment is so unique or specialized that we will ask for an upfront commitment fee in the $5,000 to $10,000 range.

Our business model is cost effective because it is results-based. In fact, we actually guarantee our results. If we are paid a full fee (30% of base and bonus) within 30 days of a candidate starting, we offer a FULL MONEY-BACK guarantee. For lesser fees, we offer either a one-year replacement guarantee or a 90-day, pro-rated refund.

Over the past 25 years, our Results-Based Recruiting has helped companies fill mission-critical jobs after fewer interviews. Our clients, on average, make one job offer for every four initial interviews. Furthermore, the hires are more likely to remain with the company, contributing significantly over the years.

Initially, our process may take more involvement because we will work with you to define your problems, your goals, and your vision of success for yourself, your organization and for the person you seek to hire. We then recruit based on quantified accomplishments, screening candidates on the basis of what they have achieved, not on what they say they’ve done. We will only pass a candidate on to you who we believe is so qualified that he or she is a capable of being promoted. In fact, virtually everyone we have placed at an organization who has been there five or more years has been promoted.

We have a wide range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies, such as PepsiCo and Nestle Waters, to smaller local entities, including Lex Products and Juliska. Bond & Company has also placed financial leaders into mid-sized companies where they have driven change and helped the enterprises to grow.
